Studio 342 is a well equipped and purpose built studio facility in Calgary Alberta. Photographers, videographers, content creators are all welcome to book time in a studio built to unleash your creativity.

Christmas is coming to Studio 342! Included in your rental between October and December are 2 beautifully decorated Christmas sets. Choose between a bright and neutral colored set, or a more dramatic and traditionally colored set, or do them both. Everything you see in the photos is included with your rental.

Not doing Christmas? No worries, most props can be moved easily and there is still plenty of room to do typical shoots.

BOOK STUDIO

Studio 342 comes with an array of beautiful features that can readily be incorporated into your production. A Cyclormama wall, a wainscotting wall, a library, an arch, and other features guaranteed to get your creative juices flowing.

Our studio also doesn’t skimp on the neccesites – a small kitchenette with running water, fridge, microwave, a washroom with a changing area, and a glam station to get everyone looking production ready.

Studio 342 is also the only photo/video studio in the city with acoustic treatment. This means your audio guy won’t roll his eyes when you deliver audio that doesn’t sound like it was recorded in a canyon.

No, access to the studio is granted through a door code that is only active during your rental time/date.

Yes, pre-light sessions can be booked prior to your rental date. Please contact us if you would like to book your rental with a pre-light session.

No, all time in the studio is considered billable time.

Clients are encouraged to book enough time for setup, production, and teardown. In cases with back to back bookings – extension will not be possible. If no back to back bookings are present – extending your time is permitted at a rate of 1.5X typical hourly rate. Overages are billed per minute and automatically charged to the card on file.

No, all sessions booked at our studio are unattended.

Acoustically treated rooms reduce reverberation, echo, and resonance. In other words – treated rooms sound more natural and less distracting to the listener. Acoustically treated rooms do not not mean that they are 100% sound proof. Although Studio 342 is reasonably well insulated from outside sounds, it is not sound proof.
